Look to the MFAH for good books and great conversations! The History Book Club presents free bimonthly discussions about books on life in Europe and America during the 18th and 19th centuries, inspired by the collections of the two MFAH house museums: Bayou Bend and Rienzi.

The book selection for May is The Indispensables: The Diverse Soldier-Mariners Who Shaped the Country, Formed the Navy, and Rowed Washington Across the Delaware by Patrick K. O'Donnell.

There are two ways to participate. Be sure to register in advance!
► In Person at Bayou Bend | 1:30 pm Contact [email protected] to register.
► Via Zoom | Register online for 1:30 pm or 7 pm to attend either or both sessions.
